HTC will have something to show on January 12
Teasing. HTC today released a teaser regarding an announcement on January 12th. We can start speculating.
"For U". We do not know what that means, but that is what we can read about the "teaser" published by HTC on social networks. A picture in pastel tones these two words and then thats it. One wonders what can be "for us", and one wonders why the firm wants to wait until the CES has closed its doors to make its announcement rather than to take advantage of the show.
Of course, logic would dictate that the firm presents a new phone with the main candidate " HTC Ocean " which is the subject of many rumors for the past few weeks. It would also be a good match with the tones chosen for the invitation and its supposed "Sense Touch" interface, by which the brand will be able to tell - in the purest marketing exercise - that it is "more human" and adapts to the user. It is for him".
Second option: a new version of Vive, the rumor has already spoken. This being so, the teaser does not openly invite this option. We can imagine the firm waiting for the MWC. It was after this show that Le Vive was presented for the first time in 2015. Two years later, an update would be welcome, although technically the object is only available since April 2015. We will see in a little less than a month.
