GALAXY S7 AND S7 EDGE ANDROID NOUGAT CONFIRMED BY SAMSUNG FOR JANUARY 2017!
Good news if you are a Galaxy S7 or S7 Edge user. Samsung has just confirmed that Android Nougat will land in January 2017. More than a few days to wait to give a little blow to your smartphone.
The Galaxy S7 and S7 Galaxy Edge are undoubtedly the best selling Android smartphones of 2016 . Samsung has again made a very clean copy this year. The Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge are among the best smartphones on the market on many points like the quality of the screen, the photo quality or the design.
But its great weakness compared to its great rival the iPhone, these are the delays of updates. Android is partly for something but not only. Samsung must indeed rework its Touchwiz overlay with each new version of Android, which takes it all the same a lot of time.
But this year, Korean made quick to carry Android Nougat on its smartphones stars. In fact, after a month of beta testing Samsung has officially confirmed that Android Nougat was going to land on the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge in January.
Rather, Samsung announced that it would do its best "to distribute the official release in January as soon as possible." One thing is sure so, Android Nougat will be there within 30 days. Especially since Samsung announced the end of the beta program for January 30, 2017.
What we do not know yet is whether users will receive version 7.1.1 or version 7.0 of Android Nougat. Some operators have suggested some time ago that it would be version 7.0 but nothing says that the 7.1.1 will arrive quickly. Teasing. HTC today released a teaser regarding an announcement on January 12th. We can start speculating.
"For U". We do not know what that means, but that is what we can read about the "teaser" published by HTC on social networks. A picture in pastel tones these two words and then thats it. One wonders what can be "for us", and one wonders why the firm wants to wait until the CES has closed its doors to make its announcement rather than to take advantage of the show.
Of course, logic would dictate that the firm presents a new phone with the main candidate " HTC Ocean " which is the subject of many rumors for the past few weeks. It would also be a good match with the tones chosen for the invitation and its supposed "Sense Touch" interface, by which the brand will be able to tell - in the purest marketing exercise - that it is "more human" and adapts to the user. It is for him".
Second option: a new version of Vive, the rumor has already spoken. This being so, the teaser does not openly invite this option. We can imagine the firm waiting for the MWC. It was after this show that Le Vive was presented for the first time in 2015. Two years later, an update would be welcome, although technically the object is only available since April 2015.
