Samsung is already testing smartphones Galaxy and Galaxy X1 X1 Plus with curved displays


Chinese social network Weibo has brought information about what will be called the first bendable smartphone Samsung. According to sources familiar with the development, now being tested phones called the Samsung Galaxy Galaxy X1 and X1 Plus.


At the beginning of the year it was reported that the Galaxy X with the curved screen needs to be announced to release iPhone 8, that is, in the second half of 2017. New data indicate that under this title will be released two devices at once. It is alleged that the smartphones curved displays are already being tested in China.

The source adds that the test version of Galaxy X1 running the Android operating system 6.0.1 Marshmallow, whereas Samsung Galaxy X1 Plus Android 7.1.1 installed fresh Nougat. Galaxy X1 received model number SM-X9000, and the model Galaxy X1 Plus is labeled SM-X9050.


Folding Samsung smartphones should get a display with a resolution of 4K, and will be able to recognize the owner’s fingerprint and face.
