GALAXY S8 MORE PHYSICAL BUTTON BUT TOUCH 3D TOUCH ON THE SCREEN
Like its predecessors, the Galaxy S8 makes talk about its physical button, or rather its disappearance. An important feature of the S range for years, Samsung could finally decide to ignore it to mark a real technological break and propose instead a touch touch 3D Touch on the screen.
David Ruddock, one of our fellow Android Police, reports this rumor coming from one of his contacts. Nothing is engraved in the marble, but he still wanted to share these statements on his Twitter account. Thus, it evokes a simple deletion of the physical button on the Galaxy S8 for a transition to touch, especially in the 3D Touch technology to enrich the functions of each button.
This is not the first time that we talk about the removal of the home button for Galaxy S8 , and it is likely that it will eventually happen. Samsung seems to be preparing for it for some time now, and 2017 could be the right year to surprise everyone after the Note 7 fiasco.
We mentioned there is little a possible partnership between Samsung and Synaptics for an optical fingerprint reader integrated with the Galaxy S8 screen . If this happens, the lower part of the phone could be much thinner, further enhancing the uncluttered appearance of the curved screen.
If the Galaxy S8 features a pressure-sensitive screen , it would open many software features. Samsung could thus satisfy its disappointed customers who have not been able to take advantage of the interface of Note 7. The 3D Touch technology could thus easily adapt to contextual functions, to activate at the touch of a finger, or with a pen that Could be invited on the range S. What do you think?
