GALAXY S7 AND S7 EDGE ANDROID NOUGAT CONFIRMED BY SAMSUNG FOR JANUARY 2017!

GALAXY S7 AND S7 EDGE ANDROID NOUGAT CONFIRMED BY SAMSUNG FOR JANUARY 2017!

Good news if you are a Galaxy S7 or S7 Edge user. Samsung has just confirmed that Android Nougat will land in January 2017. More than a few days to wait to give a little blow to your smartphone.

The Galaxy S7 and S7 Galaxy Edge are undoubtedly the best selling Android smartphones of 2016 . Samsung has again made a very clean copy this year. The Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge are among the best smartphones on the market on many points like the quality of the screen, the photo quality or the design.
But its great weakness compared to its great rival the iPhone, these are the delays of updates. Android is partly for something but not only. Samsung must indeed rework its Touchwiz overlay with each new version of Android, which takes it all the same a lot of time.
But this year, Korean made quick to carry Android Nougat on its smartphones stars. In fact, after a month of beta testing Samsung has officially confirmed that Android Nougat was going to land on the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge in January.
Rather, Samsung announced that it would do its best "to distribute the official release in January as soon as possible." One thing is sure so, Android Nougat will be there within 30 days. Especially since Samsung announced the end of the beta program for January 30, 2017.

What we do not know yet is whether users will receive version 7.1.1 or version 7.0 of Android Nougat. Some operators have suggested some time ago that it would be version 7.0 but nothing says that the 7.1.1 will arrive quickly. Users of the Galaxy S7 or S7 Edge, so watch your notifications, Android Nougat is coming soon.

NEXUS 6P BIG BATTERY PROBLEMS APPEAR AFTER ANDROID NOUGAT

NEXUS 6P BIG BATTERY PROBLEMS APPEAR AFTER ANDROID NOUGAT

The Nexus 6P and 5X were the stars of last year for Google, but have not been forgotten by the developer who still offers them major Android updates in advance. Problem is that after the battery defects of the Nexus 5X, it is the turn of the 6P to undergo random phone extinctions that do not appear to be caused by Android 7.0 Nougat.

nexus-6p

2016 was a year of turmoil for Google, which finally decided to be serious about its builder business. While he just signed a couple of partnerships before, he decided to put his mark on his devices now.
It is through this that we had the right to Google Pixel Pixel XL and this year, while the Nexus brand is now abandoned . At least in mind, since the last devices of this one continue to be updated.
The problem is that its last two models, the 6P and the 5X Nexus, are causing problems today. The 6P is particularly within the scope of a huge battery problem, while some smartphones begin to suddenly switch off in full use.
Even with more than 60% charged battery, the phone turns off without warning. It is then necessary to connect it so that it deigns to rekindle. The battery consumption indicator also shows this problem on the software aspect.
No one knows the causes of it. It seems that the problem is similar to that faced by the Nexus 5X : Update Android 7.0 Nougat would have exacerbated an existing problem in hardware, the fact of returning to the 6.0 version of calming all but changing nothing.

Google will look into the issue soon, having integrated it to its tracker but given it a relatively low priority. While Google Pixel are also beginning to show their weaknesses , it is beset by doubt as to the checks carried out by the manufacturer on its products before marketing.
