MMM Popularity Continues Scheme’s Website Ranks Top 5 Most Visited In Nigeria
The online page of a controversial deposit money scheme, MMM, has taken a spot amongst the most visited websites in Nigeria, according to Web traffic monitor, Alexa.com.
Statistics available on Alexa, a standard for online traffic evaluation, show that MMM maintained the 5th position for the most part of November, edging out major platforms such as Facebook, Twitter and online retailer, Jumia.com.
PREMIUM TIMES could not find a spokesperson for MMM to comment for this story, but the spike in its online presence might not be unconnected with its growing popularity amongst Nigerians.
Nigerians continue to patronise the scheme —which promises a return of up to 30 per cent on every investment within 30 days— despite all warnings from the appropriate authorities to desist.
The Central Bank of Nigeria recently rolled out a radio and television blitz warning Nigerians not to risk their incomes on the scheme, all to no avail.
Members of the House of Representatives were criticised by some MMM particiP@nts when they called for immediate crackdown on promoters of the scheme earlier this month.
Typical allegations from online commenters were about how the lawmakers were trying to block a critical means of livelihood for the masses.
This week, the group marked its first anniversary in the country by donating gifts to the internally displaced persons in the Federal Capital Territory.
The News Agency of Nigeria reports that members of the community as part of their activities marking the exercise tagged: “MMM Cares”, donated relief materials to IDPs at the Gwoza and Bama Camps in Abuja.
They donated bags of rice, garri, cartons of beverages and noodles as well as clothing, and drugs, NAN said.

A locomotive called the iPhone continues to rush forward despite some signs of slowing down. But before to discuss the upcoming sale of Apple’s smartphone, there is more detail on the sales patterns of previous generations.

“We view the launch of the iPhone user base to 8, which is 45-50% higher than that was during the release of the iPhone 6. Therefore, the forecast 83-86 sold 8 million iPhone in the fourth quarter of 2017 seems the most realistic.
The increase in subscriber base has spurred sales of the iPhone 6. We believe that the smartphone has expanded the owners of iOS devices by about 35%, later models – 5-10%. Anyone who now uses an iPhone 6 as your main device is a candidate to purchase the iPhone at the end of 2017,” the analysts write.
Given that most users change smartphones every two years, Apple will be faced with the fact that millions of owners of iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus will want to update their device.
However, the iPhone 6 is just the tip of the iceberg. If you add iPhone 5s, iPhone 5c, iPhone 4s and iPhone 4, we get 300-400 million users, which is likely to decide to move to a new model as soon as iPhone 8 will appear on store shelves.
While we have become accustomed to impressive launches of Apple, never before have so many people didn’t use “Apple” smartphones that will allow iPhone sample 2017 to reach unprecedented heights.
In addition, some analysts forget that iOS stronger “hold” of the user than Android. In other words, iPhone owners when upgrade is likely to choose a smartphone from the same manufacturer – at least, more likely than owners of Android phones. Therefore, most owners of the iPhone 6 and older devices updated to iPhone 8 this year.
As for the expected iPhone 8 new features, today we know that the unit will receive a radical new design, glass case, display in the entire front panel, 3 GB of RAM, a next-generation processor Apple A11, improved functionality and Touch ID, wireless charging and long-range.

So before you turn in your masterpiece, go over it with a fine tooth comb, and then have a friend or two do the same.
Now you may be saying, “Well, wait a minute Levine – you have typos in your blog all the time.” Yes, but I’m not turning it in to CBS. We all make typos and we all overlook them. That’s why it’s so critical you go that extra mile. You enlist some help. The competition is steep. Give yourself an edge by presenting a proofed-proof script.

In the coming year, experts predict the emergence on the market of innovative technical developments. Among them wireless charging Apple, which entered the list of the most anticipated gadgets of the year according to Metronews.
According to reports, Apple together with partners from USA and Asia, working on a fundamentally new technology of wireless charging. For quite some time now, blackberry have been “Fighting” to regain stand in the mobile market, following the rapid turn up of Android OS Subscribers on daily basis. They obviously knew they needed to tight their game up and get things right which can only be made possible via an alliance with the “Guardian Class”. Hence sprouts an awesome combo, Blackberry device + Android OS= Boom!!
Sometime last year, we heard some things about blackberry priv, which happens to be the first Blackberry phone to get the Android OS. Many people turned up, which obviously proved people where bored of Blackberry due to the OS as many users turned up to become beta testers for the blackberry priv, Android Marshmallow update and more. Actually, Android Os, coming into Blackberry devices became something fun to try since then as more device(s) seems to be coming with the Android OS, and the latest on our list is the Blackberry DTEK50 which from my tittle, is the World’s most secure Android device (How you might be asking? I’d explain, so keep reading further, The Specs would do just fine)

I guess you would like to know why this device whose name actually *might* not be ringing a bell in your ears, may be for now should be the most secured Android Device. As claimed by the Canadian based company, The Blackberry DTEK50 is equipped with a hardened Linux kernel and a more secure bootloader (Devs should understand what this means).
Also in package, is a Full disk encryption, hardware root of trust with better track keys and plenty jargons translating to the fact that BlackBerry replicated its signature secure systems on the BlackBerry Neon as it did with the BlackBerry Priv. So, I guess the claims are right.
Price in Africa
Blackberry phones have always been known to be very costly,up to the extent of being Money-Equivalent to the price of a laptop in Africa. The Blackberry Neon not being an exception as the blackberry device would be going for $299, apparently, N94,000 in Nigerian Naira.
But it is “Allergic to Africa”
Africans have always been known to have a flare for “Great and cheap things”, Make it great, make it cheap, am in. (Me not excluded) so with the likes of PRIV and this, we obviously should not be expecting the turn up to be massive.
