Actor Leo Mezie speaks out on his condition in new interview
Nollywood actor Leo Mezie has been down with kidney failure for some months now. Reports also showed that he lost the use of his right leg along while in the hospital. He is in need of over N10m for a kidney transplant and only N6m has been reached.
The actor was able to speak to Punch News over the fact that his full kidney tranplant fee has not been reached by his fellow Nollywood actors. He said: “I am not disappointed at all; I appreciate what they have been doing for me.”
“My colleagues have been there for me. They have been trying their best. No matter what the situation has come to, they have been supportive and have been sending the little they can afford and as often as possible.”
“They come to my house, give me food and cash gifts. They have been very fantastic and I appreciate them. I do not feel disappointed at all.”
The actor also revealed the money needed for his kidney transplant has increased. He said: N10, is not enough for my treatment.”

Even three decades after Tron hit cinemas, its influence on futuristic design shows no signs of slowing down. The Cyclotron bicycle borrows both look and name from the science-fiction film, with a design that’s unmistakably based on the Light Cycle, namely its two illuminated, spokeless wheels.
Besides being visually striking, the wheel “halos” turn themselves on in low-light conditions, serving as an additional safety measure by increasing visibility, and can last for eight hours on battery alone. Red laser lines can optionally project out rearward to mark a “bike lane” for good measure. The wheels themselves are hubless, enabling what the designers are calling USMs, or Utility Slot Modules, which are storage containers made to fit inside the wheel where the spokes would be in the traditional wheel. While a great concept, we’re eager to find out how the added mass in the wheel will affect the gyroscopic effect.
The base Cyclotron is a manual 12-speed, but the top-of-the-line model offers far more intrigue with an electronic gearbox that can shift in under a fifth of a second, even while at a standstill. Those who just want to enjoy the ride can enable an automatic mode where the gearbox will do all the shifting for you. The Cyclotron’s drivetrain is encapsulated as part of the frame, which should do wonders for keeping out the road grime, but could be a hassle when it comes time to service the bike. Solid polymer tires require no air and are estimated to last over 6,000 miles, but we’re curious as to how the mostly-covered wheels will handle small obstacles and curbs.

Woman buried alive by wicked fiancé reveals how she clawed out of grave
A woman who was buried alive after being strangled by her cruel fiancé has revealed how she had to claw her way out of her shallow grave.Stacey Gwilliam, from Swansea, was left for dead by her partner Keith Hughes.
He had buried her on the Swansea Bay coastal path in July last year.
She told Piers Morgan and Susanna Reid on Good Morning Britain that she used her fingernails to get out.
The brave 34-year-old said:
“I came round and there were branches and shrubs put on top of me.I could hear my heart beating and I could hear the sound of the sea in the background.
“It was like everything was in slow motion. All I could see were blurs of green and brown.
“I couldn’t breathe, I couldn’t move. It was like I was paralysed.It was awful really. Trying to get your head together to work out what was going on around you.
“I tried to get up, but couldn’t. I had to use my nails to get out of where I was.
"That was all I could do. I tried to push but I didn’t have the upper strength.”
When she finally got to safety at a nearby golf range car park Stacey was put in an induced coma.She had to spend 26 days in hospital, 14 of them in an induced coma and she still has difficulty eating and speaking.The attacks were so serious they left her walking with a stick.
When police arrested Hughes he told them:

“You’ll never find her” but was shocked to be told: “She’s alive”.Bodybuilder Hughes was jailed for life at Swansea Crown Court in December last year for the attack - but is eligible to apply for parole in just eight years.

Right on schedule, the FIFA 17 demo launched today across consoles and PC.
The demo features a "select experience" from FIFA 17s intriguing-looking "The Journey" mode. For the demo, youll fill the shoes of rising star Alex Hunter and can play through a portion of this mode for Manchester United.
Also featured in the demo is the Kick Off mode, which lets you play matches right away. While matches are loading, you can play new skill games; there are four new ones for single-player and three for multiplayer.
In terms of teams, there are twelve clubs from around the world playable in Kick Off. These include:
- Manchester City
- Chelsea
- Real Madrid
- Juventus
- Inter
- Paris Saint-Germain
- Olympique Lyonnais
- Seattle Sounders
- Bayern München
- Tigres U.A.N.L. (MX)
- Gamba Osaka
There are three stadiums featured in the demo: CenturyLink, Stamford Bridge, and Suita City Football Stadium.
You can download the FIFA 17 demo by following the links below. One thing to note is that The Journey mode and some other Frosbite engine features are only offered on new-gen consoles and PC.
