OBO maestro, Davido had one of the biggest turnup in the Nigeria music industry last year as he set the pace for other artiste who penned mega deals with his international label after he sealed a major deal with Sony Music.
The Ekuro singer ended the year just like he started it, on a high note as he copped himself an Xmas gift in the form of a brand new Range Rover SUV reportedly worth N80 million.
The HKN act who was recently snapped making a call with stacks of cash took to social media to show off the ride alongside his customised white Audi which he bought for himself around the same period a year ago.

Actor Leo Mezie speaks out on his condition in new interview
Nollywood actor Leo Mezie has been down with kidney failure for some months now. Reports also showed that he lost the use of his right leg along while in the hospital. He is in need of over N10m for a kidney transplant and only N6m has been reached.
The actor was able to speak to Punch News over the fact that his full kidney tranplant fee has not been reached by his fellow Nollywood actors. He said: “I am not disappointed at all; I appreciate what they have been doing for me.”
“My colleagues have been there for me. They have been trying their best. No matter what the situation has come to, they have been supportive and have been sending the little they can afford and as often as possible.”
“They come to my house, give me food and cash gifts. They have been very fantastic and I appreciate them. I do not feel disappointed at all.”
The actor also revealed the money needed for his kidney transplant has increased. He said: N10, is not enough for my treatment.”

Photo Man arrested for beating his 70 year old mother
He filed a complaint at the police station against Kishore but later withdrew it "due to pressure" from neighbours, but on Saturday, December 10th, activist Kundan Srivastava filed another complaint and the accused was arrested and sent to Jail. He has been reportedly released on bail.
The videos posted on Facebook by Srivastava showed the elderly woman lying on the ground, wrapped in blood-stained clothes. She was taken to GTB hospital for treatment.
Acting on the complaint filed against victims son, he was arrested and sent to jail.
"We have booked the accused under sections 323 (punishment for voluntarily causing hurt), 341 (punishment for wrongful restraint) and 352 (assault) of IPC," a senior police officer said, adding that the case is under investigation

A Chinese father is suing his three daughters for not returning home to visit him frequently.
The 69-year-old, named Yang Zhengyuan, from Sichuan province filed a lawsuit in March claiming that his daughters hadnt come home enough or given him enough financial support, reports the Peoples Daily Online.
This comes after Shanghai announced that parents would be able to sue their children if they refused to visit them.In addition they would also be given a bad credit rating. The father-of-three claims that his children have not come home enough and have not supported him over the past 10 years. However the daughters, Yang Liu, Yang Qing and Yang Lan have issued a counterclaim arguing that he is guilty of domestic violence and favouring boys over girls. Yang Liu claims that her father beat her in her own office after she failed to give him the money he was demanding from her.
While Yang Qing said she was beaten by her father when she was pregnant:

When I was a few months pregnant, he pulled my hair and beat me.They have provided copies of balance transfers sent to their father.
Their mother Xiao Lu admitted that her husband used to favour boys over girls even though all five of his children are girls. She also said that when they lived together, her husband beat her. The daughters also argue that their father has shown a lack of interest in their personal affairs such as education, marriages and careers.
He admitted that he could have contributed more to his family but denies claims that he abandoned his daughters.
Yang Qing told reporters: Even if he wins the case, we would lose our affection.
