Then go to match>>Adhoc and create room with a name e.g Olatech
Then ask your friend to join by going to match>>Adhoc and search for your name (Olatech) to join by clicking on the name.
So you can now start playing your multiplayer mode.

Although it is free and therefore quickly adopted, Windows 10 does not have the best user feedback for Microsoft.
