Windows 10 unable to add visual foxpro odbc driver. ask question. while using excel 2007 on the same 64-bit os, i was able to import visual foxpro data in excel. since upgrading, i found the option to not be availabe, windows 10 visual foxpro odbc issue. 0.. Foxpro 2.6 for windows and visual foxpro 3.0 to 6.0 should not be supported as they are pure 16-bit applications. not sure for vfp 7.0 to 8.0 as they are for both 16-bit and 32-bit environments. vfp 9.0 should be technically supported. if you could run it on windows 8, it should be okay on windows 10..

The microsoft ole db provider for odbc (msdasql) is a technology that allows applications that are built on oledb and ado (which uses oledb internally) to access data sources through an odbc driver. msdasql is an oledb provider that connects to odbc, instead of a database.. Microsoft access through oledb has the same problem on 64-bit computers. as stated by pcelba, compiling the application for 32-bit solves the problem with access, and i suspect that it would do the same for foxpro..
