Hello! i need a help with installation of my printer in os windows server 2016. when i try to install printer, i get message that my os not supported.. Hi, based on your test, i would suggest to contact hp and check of this module printer or the printer driver is compatible on a domain controller role server. in addition, it is not suggested to install other roles on a dc machine, if you have another working server, you could move the file and printer role into that server.. Issue: when i install the hp printers using static ip address under print management and use drivers from the hp website for server 2016 (hp universal pcl 6) the printers work for so long for users then stop working intermittently or will work for some and not for others..
